I am so happy to hear Creech is leaving. That man single handedly ruined Global Supply Chain. And his buddy-buddy Greg Hill has destroyed that company and Leo Hess' legacy. Shame on John Hess for letting him.
Currently about 2300 Employees hearing that reduction will be about 35% (780 people). Out of those people cut supposedly 80-85% will be Houston personnel.
Reorganization starts on Tuesday!
Hearing 1,000 people in houston office gunna be let go. Can that be true? I can't believe
Restructure Week 1/15 to 1/18
Any idea how many will be let go ?
Next week ( 1/15 to 1/19 ) is Restructure Week.
Any guess on how many ?
$150 MM savings in 2019 due to restructuring. That’s 500 people at an average salary with Benifits of $300 k.
Going to happen!
This number of 650 is BS — get your facts straight before starting a rumor
Here you go:
Brian Truelove, SVP, Global Services
Dennis Creech, VP, Lean Implementation
Martin Edwards, VP, Europe
Mark Johnson, VP, Finance Shared Services
Sauu Kakok, VP, Special Projects – Asia
Dave McKay, VP, Bakken Operations
Bill Rothe, VP, Enterprise Systems
Which VPS and SVP?
1 SVP and 7 VPs have announced they are leaving. I am sure the parachutes are great.
Personnel cuts start in Q1 2018
Last year, 238 were let go and the local news outlets picked up on it. How come no news reporting about the so called 650 layoffs?
This is nonsense. No mass layoffs have occurred at Hess this year.
what departments/location? where did the 650 number come from?
What groups?
how about a little more context?
Wow....
