They had to do it. When you look at the revenue numbers, they know they're not going to make them. The only way to make EBITA is to reduce expenses. Interest on $2B is quite a chunk of money and they probably got a month deferred as part of the deal. Now expenses drop for the year and EBITA is made. Math baby!

Unfortunately, it doesn't fix the underlying weakness on the sales/revenue side and the overall weakness on the marketing side.
