Dallas Quad/Graphics plant closing?

Dallas plant shutting down January 2018.

I've seen this mentioned in several threads, but I haven't heard about it outside of this forum. Anybody here knows a bit more about this? Is this just a rumor or did I miss some kind of an announcement on it? Any info would be appreciated.

Fairfield PA, has a lot of employee's coming from other plants to help them right now. That could be really good and really bad... Good because they currently have work but if they can't manage the work I am not sure how much longer Quad will keep that work there.

"Millions of Dollars of New Equipment" -that may be, but as a former QW employee I watched Quad sell off one of the two Rotoman webs and gut the plant of most of the expertise that made it special. Turning it into another Quad-network commercial plant. Terrible management practices from a soul-less (and clueless) management group.

After millions of dollars of new equipment at the Dallas facility in 2016/2017 they've shut the doors. Typical Quad Graphics. Big surprise? Not so much. They've talked about closing it for the last four years. Shareholders should really question the sanity of Quads top brass.
