Philips in 2005 acquired the tiny but very innovative Stentor Inc in the Bay Area to grab number 1 market share in PACS and top customer satisfaction. Now all R&D jobs are moved overseas, and product quality went down the drain, along with credibility and customer satisfaction.

We can't retain and renew our long term contracts because the company has not even attempted to adhere to the road map we sold our customers when they signed up a decade ago. The Dutch simply don't want to hear it and won't correct the course before it is too late.
They totally Dutched it up and now they are bringing those jobs back to the US.
It is what Philips does. They can't create, so, they buy companies that can and then the Dutch "optimize" them to death.
