Layoffs will be happening globally. BD HR have already been in the global offices over the past few days scoping out who stays and who goes.
Does anybody know where this info came from? Do we know if layoffs are really coming or is this just unsubstantiated rumor or wild guessing?
Layoffs scheduled for 3rd week of February (after PMCP/Halogen review) and last week in March. A lot of good people have already seen the writing on the wall and left. In the famous words of a certain VP who already departed: Bard, has been a great place to be.
Expect more layoffs in February and March - January was only the beginning.

RAQA, Finance and Warehouse next. RAQA is outsourced in BD. Finance (AP) will be setup in one central location per region and Warehouse will be outsourced to 3PL. Then IT will be shifted from Cognizant to HCL.
No surprise with the BAS layoff. More should be coming. The BAS division is being dismantled and absorbed into BD. This division will no longer exist.
The start of layoffs at Bard access systems in Salt Lake City now BD happened today. About 8 marketing related people were let go at this location.

We just had BD managers attend our office and at question time : first question: are our jobs secure, when is the restructure happening?! BD manager was stunned and kept saying we aim for growth and it is business as usual! We then heard that the next wave of announcements will be February-March. Go figure.
