Thread regarding Cardinal Health Inc. layoffs

Micromanaging to death

I’ve been with Cardinal health for almost two years and can safely say I am experienced in the daily processes of my job. It aggravates me to have a manager constantly looking over my shoulder just to see if I am getting things done correctly!

I can understand an occasional follow up, but while you’re questioning me on the procedures I am using and literally following employees around waiting for a mistake to be made so you can berate them - how is your job coming along? You know, the one you were hired to do? I’m pretty sure it’s not babysitting! /rant

The atmosphere at this company will cause even the best manager to become unprofessional.

I would encourage anyone to steer clear, especially IT.

Although there a some very good people in IT, upper management is not effective.

The manager has gotten burnt or has seen a manager get burnt. You either adjust to their behavior or walk. It will not get better.
