Agreed with the note above. George is trying to cut his way to growth. He sacrifices others so he may gain as well as a select few who do his bidding. He is not a leader who inspires, but only a person in authority. True leaders would sooner sacrifice themselves so others may gain. This is something you see in the military, where medals are give to people who put themselves in harms way those beneath them. You cannot get trust and co-operation in a company when every day you ask yourself will this be my last? Moreover, looking at the stock price in a booming economy it has not done anything. I believe the that the Board of Directors are culpable and I feel that with a few more missteps, that George has put forth as part of our future, we will follow the demise of another great American company where George came from - GE.
