Thread regarding Nicklaus Children's Hospital layoffs

Layoffs caused by massive financial loss - or loss caused by layoff? Or both. Miami Childrens Hospital

I heard there were mass layoffs of managers and directors at Miami Childrens Hospital under the guise of restructuring, which were in fact due to age/s-x/gender discrimination and retaliation for questioning compliance issues and poor business decisions. How much of this is implicated in the reported $49 M loss for fiscal year 2017?

The real issue is not Trump (the universal scapegoat these days) but Narendra Kini and his gang of lackeys also known as the Senior "Leadership" Team (SLT). These targeted layoffs (and they were and will continue to be targeted) are the culmination of bad decision making, and retaliation for "doing the right thing" as they call it. Did they really think that they could lay people off with impunity? They were sadly mistaken, as evidenced by this and other Internet postings to say nothing about upcoming present and future staff turnover.

Why do you start looking where the real issue is: Donald Trump. His friends at the corporate insurance companies are making billions and they are hoarding all the cash.

All part of the bigger medical system downturn. Everyone laying people off, from Big Pharma companies to nursing care companies and everything in between.
