Good to see Bennett and Griffin out. They didn't add to SD, but were over-paid goof-balls. Time will tell is SD will survive the long haul. Even with the current lay-offs, additional cuts could happen. I see a very trim future for us. Much trimmer!

Will Icahn still be interested in taking over SD? When the bankruptcy occurred last time assets appeared to be held out of the br and then magically reappeared once the br was closed. Are there still enough assets to warrant a takeover? We know that the doors will lock for good, it's just a matter of when.
vvvvvv Thanks, for your input, Scott....you are an odd bird that was a huge waste of money at the very least. Just be glad you were able to fleece the money you did while employed for this highly dysfunctional company.
Griffin was one of the best “HR” people at any company I have ever worked. When I was let go Griffin made sure to communicate and be respectful. A lot of people are on here typing and don’t understand how hard they ESPECIALLY Griffin fought for employees. Shame on you!!!
When I was let go two years ago, Griffin did it with respect and integrity. I have worked with multiple companies in multiple industries, SandRidge was by far that treated employees the best. I am sad to see them falling.
Griffin did a great job trying to make exits as gentle as possible. Gripe about the state of affairs all you like, but they kept my bills paid and were extremely courteous when my cost couldn’t be justified. You need balls to stay in this industry.
Why would anyone C-Level or Near C-Level leave. If you stick around no matter how much you are a f--- up. You get paid millions of dollars on departure. Keep your tie pressed, your trousers zipped, and dont make to much noise in the stalls. That is what is in your contract to make sure you are not fired with cause.
