Does anyone see a trend in what department is getting targeted for the layoffs that occurred? So far, rumor mill has been focusing on engineering? Or is this affecting all department? My condolences for those who got affected. This was brutal..
I have been hanging out in here for 9 years letting others do my work yesterday they cleaned out my department again Ain’t no one of thems here and I still gots da job lol

Tuesday proved especially difficult for workers, as sources say people were escorted out of buildings.
Whirlpool has not said if more layoffs are expected this week. Whirlpool is one of Southwest Michigan’s largest employers, with about 4,000 workers in the region. The company has about 97,000 workers globally.
