I heard that people who were supposed to receive their severance was offered to stay longer. It seems Shaw is getting cold feet in paying out. People already checked out when they were told they will get cut in Spring. People planned vacations, paying off bills, cancelling child care. This is not good as it lowers morale. Someone I know expected to receive a hefty amount of money in April 2018 as was offered to stay until next year. It's almost like a breach of contract. Is Shaw hoping people will get tired of their promises and eventually quit with not pay???
