Acceptancenow DM layoffs 04/16/18

Anyone have anything to comment about all the acceptancenow district managers that have been laid off???

I hear the core will also be losing DMs as well...

Our best DM in the region got let go and

Aaron’s picked him up immediately and I bet all the employees will follow. Well many of us are we don’t want to wait around for the FSC to crap all over us again. Our RD got back from a meeting and essentially said

they are idiots that don’t understand what’s really happening in the field. Who is making these financial choices?

And the DM's that weren't released have to now manage Acceptance now and core stores OMG good luck (sarcasm intended)

You haven’t read the most recent reports. If another bidder wants in they will wait another 2 weeks or so. If not a deal will possibly be made next week. It’s such a baby Enron type of place. Who would invest in false numbers and horrible employees in the first place?

-That place...SMH. That’s all I can say.

I read reports that at the end of the second quarter (June 30) they will make the announcement of the decision to sell or not. Stock has plummeted in the past 6 months or so. Wouldn’t surprise me if they did.

The company did the right thing. No DM’s should have ever had less than 10 stores. We got lean and mean and I’m looking forward to great results. Lost some good people which was tough though.

Who's next?

They are about to sale! This is all one needs to know. If you stay, then hope the next company who buys does not lay you off. And if you leave... - Well, just leave. That’s the best option. The only ones left are the ones who do not know what they are doing or have ANY clue regarding the financial crisis. I do not regret it at all!

All the DMs got realigned today and the travel time is way to ridiculous for just about all the districts.

Some DMs have entire states they have to cover!

Who’s next on the list? Employees might want to start looking for other jobs.

Some DMs can barely make their numbers with 7-9 stores. Adding more stores (and I guarantee they will be farther away) will be a huge burden on DMs.

There goes a healthy work life balance...

I was one of them. They dropped some RD's down to DM'S and the word is that core RD'S are going to be over both sides. DM'S will now run 15 to 20 stores each.
