One must really question the management team from McDermott. Through the entire "Merger" process there has been a lack of transparency. Numerous times what has been told to CBI folks has been the opposite of what has come to pass. Latest is that McDermott is moving back into their I-10 location on May 14th. This has been confirmed. CBI was told neither location would be HQ, but why would McDermott move back into this location if they had plans to move to a new combined location? Things don't add up.

They are cleaning out their desks at the Eldridge location. They wii be kept in storage and delivered to their "new" location in 2 months.
Why would they clean out desks on Eldridge? They are not even there. Did you mean the temp location on Clay? I am surprised that anyone would have thought that they wouldn't remain in the Energy corridor. You have to look to where the C Suite is and where senior management reside, where do wives and kids go to school. I never assumed they would come to the Woodlands or anywhere near the Woodlands. So I would not be surprised if they were moving back into the the Eldridge location. Apparently that's been confirmed, but it has not yet been announced. They should have just been forthcoming and said that from the beginning.
MDR is cleaning out desks at their temp location on the Beltway.
Mcdermott staff was informed they are to clean out all their stuff from theceldridge offices next week. Doesn’t sound like they are moving back there.
I think it is quite evident MDR is at the helm. However, it would go a long way if they were just straight up about things through the process.
It may be called a merger of so called equals, but the fact is becoming apparent that MDR is the top dog in this fight.
The recent announcement of the new executive leadership. 10 MDR execs, 4 CBI execs. Given the proven incompetency of CBI management, still probably overweighted on CBI participation in the new company.
The reality, like it or not, is that MDR is in charge and calling the shots.
