ADP Payroll

Take a picture of the hours that they've worked for this pay period (and any future) in the ADP payroll program. Just in case, this may be (if necessary) a way of proving what is owed to you (pay wise). Also ALL employees should either be printing off their old pay stubs (at least Oct 2016 - Current) or downloading them to their own personal computers for unemployment sake-I chose to do this now in the event ADP was no longer available.

@olao you will get your check like everyone else on the 13th. If you are hourly you won’t receive any extra pay just because you were still employed until the final pay date. If you are salaried you’ll get your full and final check on the 13th

I worked for Babies R Us (California) in one of the first 180 stores to close. We officially closed our doors and my last day of employment was April 3, 2018. I HAVE YET TO BE PAID MY WAGES. I was informed on my last day that we will not be paid until what would have been our next "pay date" on April 13, 2018. It is my understanding that this is in violation of the California Labor Law and that they must pay me until that date. Does anyone have any input on this?? As a side note I m still able to access my Workday (from another store by a current employee) using my employee login. Could this indicate that I am still considered employed by Toys R us/Babies R us?

The original poster meant time worked that has yet to be paid.

To print off a pay stub would mean you were already paid.

You will need your stubs for unemployment.

Once in Chapter 7 employees are looked at as secured creditors and are third on the list to be paid. There may be delays or there may not be.

Just print off your pay stubs. Though why wouldn't they pay you?

Thanks poster - this is good advice. If you do office work and have a computer, make sure you back up your files. That all may be gone soon.

The same applies to email, that may be good soon.
