HCA stopped handing out severance packages. You get paid leave up to four months instead. I started a new job half-way into my paid leave and so glad I did. They tell you to go find another job in the company during that four months but bad mouth you so you can’t.
My friend worked in the Irving office. They were given three months severance pay and got to keep their benefits for the time. There was NO notice given that they were getting laid off. Literally they went into the conference room and without getting to clear out their desks.
Also, what are severance packages like? Any info is appreciated.
