Thread regarding Dish Network layoffs

Bluefield cxo firings

Over the last few days they have let go of so many coaches, agents, trainers, etc. But if we don't need these positions anymore that why are we STILL HIRING??? There is new hire training staring within the next week!

Layoffs in el paso started with manufacturong...but continued through the call center. Numerous salaried coaches and multiple agents. I agree they are trying to get around the warn act.

This isn't about performance. This is likely an attempt to get around the WARN notification required with mass layoffs. I would recommend lawyering up if you were let go.,

If you worked at Dish in Bluefield, surely you are aware of the blatant show of favoritism by the Director. Nothing happens there without her approval. If you were fired or layed-off, it is because you are not a favorite of hers. Her entire leadership is hand-picked and in tow. As long as leadership there feels untouchable, they will continue to treat employees with disrespect. They will be judged accordingly.

I am still employed, but looking what has happened to you guys, I don't want to be part of this company. There is really no focus on employees or their families. Dish stands by their title "Worst company to work for".

They never have cared. We are numbers to them. When I got hired, all I hired was how flexible they were and gow family is always first. Once i got in, it was like a modern day sweatshop. Force customers to stay or lose your job.
