With the announcement yesterday of a 4% workforce reduction, I've go to ask. Why layoff the field level employees? Why not hang on to them for a few more months and see if the buyers will offer them a position? This is going to cause several people a lot of trouble who would very likely have just made the transfer to the prospective buyer. QEP upper management is making some seriously lousy decisions as of late. Anyone else wondering if they spend the money from the sold assets as quickly as they did the Pinedale profit?
QEP is a sinking ship. Take it as a blessing if you were cut free. Go on and prosper. Upper management is a joke. Oil is $65 and we can’t survive???
