While most of the company is worried about layoffs and saving the company money. Facilities is bragging about going to Top Golf on the company dime! Must be that their department is the only one making money. Only problem is Facilities does not generate revenue. Can't get a hold of anyone in the department anyway. Next time I need them, I'll try calling TG. When will this bs stop?? Why is money being wasted when hard working people are being laid off?

Are you kidding me??? A 'facilities' manager lives out-of-state? That is the one job I would expect to be to be at any Houston campus (most of the domestic sites locations), on any given day. Who on earth is running this company???
I want to know how someone that lives out of state is still on the payroll. How do you help facilities from a remote location? If this is commonplace, I have a brother in Hawaii who's looking for a job in Houston. He's also a great golfer!
There's no Starbucks at the Energy Towers.
I could be wrong, but I’m fairly certain that Starbucks and the Energy Towers shuttle came from Employee Surveys over the last two years...
Now telling people that you’ll be out of the office to do a team building at Top Golf, no excuse for that bonehead maneuver!
At some point someone has to stop this insanity. Facilities continues to spend money like The supply is endless. Starbucks at the Energy Towers, sample furniture spaces, shuttle buses between the campuses, the list goes on. Why do these types of expenditures continue to get approved? Too many good folks that can contribute to the success of the organization are being shown the door and the company continues to have free cash flow issues. Actions like this really help the morale (sarcasm intended).
