Massive Telstra layoffs

Looks like 2018 will be one of the worst years for Telstra employees. A whopping 8,000 jobs are being cut!

After 10 years notice on the coming of the nbn and reduction of $2b in revenue, 10 years to gradually reshape and digitise the organisation the current CEO decides to make changes to those changes affecting 9,500 hard working staff in 10 months. Very poor strategic leadership, not to mention the $40b wiped from the value of the company during his tenure.
