Thread regarding Extreme Networks Inc. layoffs

Up to 100 laid off

Found this while trying to determine just how big the layoffs were. It's far from precise, but I guess it's the best we'll get for now.

"Extreme Networks is laying off between 25 and 99 employees at its Salem location at 9 Northeastern Blvd."

What about beer 30? Cornhole championships? Not surprizing as so many arrived late to work, did nothing all day and left early. Us who sit by the entrance would see this daily. Good for mgmt to get rid of the slackers who got hefty bonuses for doing nothing.

LOL ... Salem could not have lost over 100 people, the building would be virtually empty now - plus, based on this, "the company did not fall under federal WARN Act disclosure rules, which requires 60 days notice when there are layoffs of 100 employees or more."

Incorrect. Salem took the brunt of the layoffs of approximately 150.

Salem-only layoffs probably fell on the lower end of that range ... company-wide, the higher end.
