Thread regarding NetApp layoffs

How many in the last layoffs round?

Do we know by now how many employees were affected in the last layoffs round at NetApp?

Somebody mentioned around 150, but that seems like a too low number, at least according to what I've heard through the grapevine.

I could be wrong though. Do we have any way to figure out the exact number?

I was one of the people caught in this latest layoff in May. My job got moved to India. It seems that small layoffs will be the on-going trend.

from the earnings call looks like <200 so ~150 may be correct

During Q1 we conducted a workforce realignment of less than 2% of employees as we continue to focus investment dollars toward the best market opportunities and key growth initiatives.

150 out of 10k employees...that’s not bad in my book.

Do not sweat it, plenty of jobs at NetApp or somewhere else at the moment.

Spoken like a senior manager at netapp. That would make it 151 (and counting).
