Thread regarding Nielsen layoffs

'ad hoc' and 'custom analytics' layoffs

From what I heard from former colleagues, is that most recent round of Layoffs (excluding the already announced Watch layoffs in Tampa) focused on the 'ad hoc' and 'custom analytics' side of Nielsen. Long tenured employees with higher titles were let go.

It's part of the corporate strategy of automating and standardizing all of its client deliverables. Not sure if there is more coming, but any employee working in 'Custom' solutions should assess their long term role in/value to the organization
