Thread regarding HP (Hewlett-Packard) layoffs

HP is planning 5,000 job cuts as part of restructuring plan in 2018-2019

A 5,000 layoffs is coming. Does anyone know in which area it will come? Personal systems? Industrial Printing? Office Printing? 3D Printing? or in which site? or when exactly?

i wouldn't be surprised if the 5000 number isn't up'd again as the Samsung purchase settles in but not tons. No doubt some of this increase is part of that.

This is misleading. The restructuring was announced in 2016 with appx 4k in layoffs. This is a recycled story since after reporting the number is closer to 5k now expected.
