Thread regarding HP (Hewlett-Packard) layoffs

What is the typical end of year bonus?

I’m new at HP and I would like to know what is the typical end of year performance review bonus? And what is the typical salary increase after each year? I’m an engineer located in the United States

Thanks!

Excluding those times where they make you take a pay cut, pay raise will be 0-3% and bonuses will range 0-6%. If you want a true salary increase you will need to be promoted, but good luck with that... they can hire 3 people in India for the price of your salary increase.

It's impossible to say since the bonus varies by position and ranking. Raises are minimal at best unless you change levels or ranking. But I wouldn't expect on average more than 1-3% for a raise and 2-8% for a bonus. But again, it's very hard to predict.
