AR, AP, and IT combined, that 150+ layoffs. Stryker received tax breaks from the city of portage for it's claim of creating 200+ jobs for it's new building being built. In reality, Stryker played portage like a fiddle and net zero jobs will be created. Stryker has gone all-in on outsourcing to Costa-Rica and India. At the expense of about 150 employees who gave Stryker a better part of 15-20 years of service, including many nights and weekends.
Stryker is outsourcing their AP and AR Departments to Costa Rica. These employees are still working at Stryker until Stryker can get the people in Costa Rica trained. Their are over 100 employees in these depts that are losing their jobs in 2018 and by 2nd quarter of 2019.
It's been confirmed that besides the layoff, some older employees are being targeted with bogus performance write-ups. These people had years of excellence performance and gives the company legal evidence to terminate them. This hides the fact that Stryker is illegally terminating older workers who are in a protected class.

Many of the people terminated (Laid Off) have over 20 years with the company and helped make it into what it is today. No attempts were made to use them elsewhere. The code name "Reorganization" is a deliberate method of getting rid of older workers who have achieved a high wages from year over year raises. They have done this several times in the past with older workers. They keep the number low (25-50) not to raise attention of the EEOC. Nobody ever "Retires" from Stryker.
