That’s what they did to me. Laid me off with no severance but kept me on the payroll for four months. I was not allowed to work during that four months so I got another job close to end of the four months. I had a month and 1/2 of PTO and they paid me that. They were also going to give me my unemployment but since I already had a job, I didn’t pursue. I was not happy about losing my job because I loved working there but all in all, it wasn’t a bad deal compared to other companies who just walk you to the door with two weeks pay. My only issue is with a manager that I only worked with for 7 weeks bad mouthing me. She has been terrible and as hurt my reputation. I wish HCA would put a stop to it. I reached out to her and HR and asked her to stop but no such luck.
