Any update on this?
Yes. Hudson is closing permanently. Yes. The people remaining there will be let go.
I guess I’m still confused. Will the few people left in MA (Hudson) be affected by this round of layoffs? I thought they were closing Hudson permanently.
There's still a few people left there, cleaning up loose ends. Anybody that did technical or sales work is gone.
Yes. It's just a matter of when. If Wind can't sell more product to become profitable, then the new owners will trim expenses. It, unfortunately, is that simple. I'd look for a potential announcement in a few weeks - end of quarter.
My guess? It's coming and will be harsher than July's.
Did they close Hudson site?
Is there another round of layoffs coming?
Did they close Hudson?
Another round of two are being looked at.
Is there another round of layoffs next month or are they done for a while?
What happens to those VP’s in their 50’s who lost their job? Indeed.com will be their best friend.
Today is the last day of work for many!
Keep hoping that contracting out IT in Alameda will make WRS a happier workplace for everyone!
When is the last batch of RIF in Hudson?
Friday another batch of RIF pushing through. This is the second group from the July RIF. Going to be dead on campus.
I believe the article mentions the 64 Bri g corporate - that means only those in Alsmeda.
It's all I could confirm. The company declined to comment any further than the general statement they gave me. What I would need for confirmation of the wider layoffs is either documentation or corroborating statements from multiple sources. I can't work with anonymous posts here or Glassdoor alone. Again, my email is [email protected] if you can point me in the right direction.
64 does not include the delayed ones. They forced folks to stay 60-90 days if they wanted to keep the package. If you leave before then YOU QUIT YOU GET NOTHING. really didnt you Rif them now force them to stay nice WR.
