Thread regarding Cardinal Health Inc. layoffs

More layoffs this week?

Can we expect even more layoffs this week?

Last week was bad for several departments, but from what I've been hearing there are still plenty left that are yet to be affected.

I'm just wondering if we'll get a week or two reprieve or if they'll hit us with it immediately.

Please do not work for this company. There are lots of issues with the upper management. The IT director receive kickbacks and hire feom companies which they receive bribes. Don’t waste your time and ruin your career as its moat corrupt Company especially in IT department. They will pass you for growth and hire people with personal contacts with less or no experience. I have seen a lot please trust me.

I had applied for a lower level position doing charge-backs in a building close to HQ, I was hoping to "get my foot in the door" as they say, so I was willing to consider this lower level position, even though it was below me. Prior to the interview, I did research on the company, I was shocked to learn of possible ethics violation this company had in regards to the opiate d--g problems that are plaguing Ohio. Also, I had feeling this company had no loyalty to its employees, they would layoff hard working employees if they wanted to, even if top management was responsible for the poor performance of the company. Upper management would be able to keep their jobs of course. I decided I didn't want this sh--ty job. Life is too shot to slave away at a job with the false hope of moving up in a company like this. I didn't take the carrot and the stick trickery.

I was let go last week. I only spent 2 years with the company and I do not care - it was time for me to move on. It's not that easy for folks with families to support and that have spent quite a bit of time here.
