Thread regarding Bass Pro Shops layoffs

Quad Graphics in Sidney

How long will Bass Pro need the services of Quad Graphics in Sidney, NE? Doesn't seem justifiable at this point for Bass Pro to have to foot the bill for mediocre advertising from this team.

Hearing from BP execs(aka CAB management) that they are offering Quad jobs in Springfield, imagine that.97

My internet was fine in Sidney. And that contract was up on August 1.

Bp may not put out the good work, but Cabela's (or Quad) didn't/doesn't either.

And why didn't those poor rural areas buy anything at Cabela's after seeing those catalogs?

p.s. you do know how long a century is, don't you?

Catalogs going away eventually... key word there is eventually. Maybe eventually, but not likely any time this century. As long as internet access is poor in rural areas, there will always be a need for the catalog business.

Not sure they have the capacity to do everything in Springfield yet. But, when you buy the contract, you're responsible for the bill. I've heard of BP execs visiting there and liking what they see, then it again it isn't that hard to do better than what BP has put out there for any kind of creative work.

I heard catalogs will go away eventually. But I haven't seen many smart moves from BP so who knows.

And mediocre is absolutely correct
