Any credible rumors about early retirement offers at hpe? That is a Tool that HP has used in the past every 6 years or so. Did some research on it, the last one was in 2012. Wondering if they will pull that Tool out combined with Layoffs to meet the numbers this quarter and paint a picture of bigger net earnings in 2019

401k match is only once in 3 months, not every month. It is 4% olny. It used to be 6% before the Herd guy slashed it.
What I heard is that Neri is trying to boost morale. WFR's have drastically slowed down, 401k match gets funded every month and VPB is now back to twice a year. I left February 2018 on my own. The things I regret are the 25% pay cut I got from leaving, the $12K severance if I was WFR'd, and the $10K of unvested stock options. Other than those, life is much less stressful on my new job although there is less technical growth.
HPE has to prepare for the workforce that will be going to the new location in Houston. It will not hold the amount of employees currently in Houston.
Next week IS early November you brainless twit.
Does anyone know when the layoffs will take place? Next week or early Nov?
Please let there be an early retirement offer. Can't wait to jump on it just like many of my colleagues.
In other words, you mean it stinks?
There are early retirements offers, you can smell it
"Do you mean people are competing to get hired at HPE? That is ridiculous wishful thinking if you think so."
FWIW, whenever they have openings at the Fort Collins site they get plenty of applicants. I suppose that says more about the Ft. Collins job market than HPE.
Who actually thinks HPE wants to compete? I thought we all knew the company is slimming down to get bought out.
@VAjbgPU-1ifl No I mean, how is HPE going to compete against the completion in the market with so few people.
What do you exactly mean when you say "I believe HPE is down to just over 35K people. You have to have people to compete at some point."?

More WFRs? I believe HPE is down to just over 35K people. You have to have people to compete at some point.
No early retirement offers in America’s. I asked about it and was told only WFR’s, which are starting now.
