Employees became commodities and expenses, loyalties and past productivity irrelevant.

Many older and well-paid employees summarily dismissed.

If you weren't directly assigned (billable) to a customer, you were at risk. T

his philosophy continues today, it is more about squeezing short term profits for shareholders than growing the business and maintaining a stellar reputation.

I’m employed at L3 and hoping Harris comes in and cleans house. A lot of dead weight here. Good ol’ boy system firmly entrenched here. We have been waiting for this.

The merger is happening, From the L side it looks pretty scary. all I can say is that L and H are exactly the same with the same philosophies of RIFs for instant bottom line glitz and total lack of care for employees/ seniority/ experience/ expertise/ need. It also appears that invested savings plans will be lost or paid out and changed (huge tax loss) some sites will be shut down and others expanded and the merger used as a reason for low yearly pay increases. send in the clowns.
