What's your prediction as it relates to the possibility of Chubb Layoffs in 2019?

Had a department meeting today and we were told they are outsourcing our jobs in claim ops starting in September. Kind of crazy.
There is nothing good there. People will continue to run out the door
My source at Chubb is jumping ship next month---mid career 40s field person, tired of broken promises and ACE BS; mid careers are leaving for greener pastures. I was also informed that the over-55 set is retiring in droves.
Of course there will be layoffs. The mgmt of ace uses layoffs as the primary tool to control the budget
Don't know about layoffs but a lot of people I knew before I retired (just before the merger) have either taken early retirement as soon as they were able, or have resigned to work for competitors or outside the industry. The ones still there are increasingly fed up and are looking for other jobs, are just stuck because they have too much time invested (they'll retire as soon as they can), and/or are stuck because they have kids in college or about to go to college (and as soon as the kids are out they will be gone ASAP!). Maybe there'll be no layoffs due to this attrition
