As for the Frys stores in AZ, ever since Jon Flora passed away the company has not been the same. The new people in corporate do not care about its employees. We are short handed doing more work than ever and hiring kids off the streets who have absolutely no clue as to what they are doing or why. My store is getting 12 more self checkouts and we are a retirement town. The senior citizens do not want to check out their own groceries! Our hours are getting cut back. I can only hope I can find another job that will allow me to have more than 25 hours a week. I'm not happy, the customers are not happy. Very low morale at our store.

I am so sorry to read this thread. I thought maybe it was only me who was laid off with nothing but “restructuring” as a reason. You are not alone. Stay string

I think all these union stores should start thinking like Rodney and think of themselves instead of the stores and start going on strike instead of just excepting the c-ap they offer you. If you did that they would lose millions at a time when they are trying to get their same day delivery going and they do not want that problem at this time. You may think it will hurt you but I promise you, it will hurt them even more. Believe me they don't care about you at all! The Barney Kroger's and Joe Albertsons and Fred meyers are gone and with that so are all of the great leaders in the grocery business that not only cared about the customer but also cared about their employee's. May they Rest In Peace.. but probably turning over in their graves!

I left 3 years ago. Saw it coming. You can get to big for your britches. Creating mgmt positions for people who had no experience all the while treating their hourly employees like c-ap. I only miss the insurance.

And the way the Manger in click list at Hebron ,ky store 409 treats the kids she has working for her and the way she talks around the kids should be let go . She talks down to the kids and always dropping the F— word on the floor and around the kids and the mangers don't even say anything to her because the store mangers are the same way and Kroger doesn't care . And the deli has food on the floor and trash on the floor the chicken is old and not cooked right but who cares right so I hope the mangers get cut at Hebron, ky store 409

in central lots of managers ASM are being fired, cooperate being asked to retire and coordinators reassigned and relocated. All with no explanation to the stores these people work with leaving them in an emotional mess. How can we be fresh and friendly when we are devastated.

I retired after 36 years with this company. I feel that it has gone down in service over the last 10 years. The ones that are being hired now could care less if they work or how fast or slow they work. The dress code is awful . There is no customer service left. But I will continue to shop there because I was a dedicated employee for Kroger.

I had been with the company for 10 years, and the last three years has been a living hell. I was physical and emotional drained every day. No time for family and when I was home I was a zombie from no energy. I finally decided to give it up before this all happened and now I work for an amazing company who cares about there employees. Kroger is absolutely the worst!!!! I feel so so sorry for the associates that still work there.

I said all along it’s greed. I have 30 years in this company and it breaks my heart that it has come to this. No compassion for employees let alone the customers. We are losing customers to Walmart and harps. They don’t want to use the self check outs. Or bag their own groceries. If they did they would get on pay roll. We have gotten away from what Barney Kroger was all about. Sad they have s— the life out of its employees and have broken spirits. How do we fix this?

There were 20 store managers fired from the Cincinnati Dayton Division. All 35 and older with more than 10 yrs. of experience. My friend had 28 yrs. with the company and was simply given the reason of restructuring. Totally devistated as they are the sole income. Kroger has definitely become a negative and hostile work environment. The leadership in this division would rather fire you than assist in improving. Unfortunately I am employed by Kroger and I have no loyalty any longer. This doesn't motivate anyone to stay or care about the company. Why? All about money.....no care about the customer experience. The replacements have no experience therefore can be paid less and work more. Yesterday was a sad day for many. Prayers to my friends who lost there jobs.

As of 2-1-2019 Kroger is Laying off it’s entire print design and production staff. They announced that my entire office will be closing in a few months in favor of outsourcing the entire job to an outside vendor. Then just to twist the knife, Kroger is making us train the the outside firm to take our jobs. All, while holding back severance checks. What a garbage corporation Kroger is. Yuck, get off our planet!
