Post any information about potential or actual BP Layoffs in 2019?

So true, who has ever met an ex-BP employee that after a few months could speak at least neutral about the company. Keep looking and waiting.
Ha ha pick the (b)ottom of (p)ickle BP jar before BP changes or does anything to make America great. It is all in the interest of UK pension holders and that could be a maybe sometimes
There are a lot of ex BP X's around. I was devastated by a BP layoff in my 8th year (1992), and that was over 25 years ago and things haven't changed. While I managed to have a pretty successful 28 year career in the oil & gas industry (with another 5 years as a geo in environmental), it is a hard on people to go through a career with the severe ups-and-downs. You get complacent in the good times (buying too big of a house and new car), and then start your kids in college when the bottom drops out. Knowing what I went through, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone now who has a family.
In the event BP layoffs people, consider reading previous posts. They] have a wealth of information that will protect you and provide a real view of how BP will mistreat you on the way out. Your stock options will "puff" and so will any medical retiree benefit BP offered (since you probably will be less than 50 yrs old). Do not trust any of the labor attorneys and HR partners - both work against you. Forget BP's code of conduct that garbage does not apply when BP is getting rid of you.
