Lsc communications is a c-appy job to work for! They have lost quality, customers, and do not maintain the equipment like we use to at publishers printing before the buyout! They have played with our work schedule several times, and have moved employees around in positions also, some of which don’t need to be in those positions! Part of that is still due to the buddy system in management! Personally I think it would be best to let all managers go and let someone else judge us that doesn’t even know us!!!! Just saying!!!!

I work for Lsc. Communications, and they just came in last week and told us point blank, were shutting you down.Moral been down since the 2015,and got worst in 2016 spinoff into LSC,not a good place to work for.
National publishing is closing part if LSC Communications. Just found out today after 163 plys years in Philadelphia .
Until the Department of Justice approves the sale all this speculation is moot. The ONLY way I see the sale being approved is if the distribution platform of LSC is excluded. Combining Quad's and LSC's mailing capabilities would give Quad a stranglehold on how printers get their magazines and catalogs mailed and what they have to pay to do so. Consumers would suffer from the increased charges so DOJ will not approve the sale as it is currently structured. If/when the sale goes through, rest assured that all the LSC plants with outdated and worn-out equipment will be shuttered. Quad stays on the cutting edge of technology and is not about to let LSC's antiquated equipment serve as an anchor around their neck. Just one retired printer's opinion.
LSC communications needs to shut all there factories down because they don’t give 2 fuks about the employee!I worked for Publishers Printing for 20 years and they bought us!Within 2 years they have ran the equipment into the ground and have lost tons of customers due to not caring about quality!I walked out in June couldn’t take it anymore!
Quad doesn't have enough book capacity to take all of LSC's Book production. Quad only has 2% of the book market compared to LSC's 12%. They will close some magazine plants and move the work to Wisconsin but most book plants of LSC will more than likely survive.
Quad is a bad company to work for , they don't care about the employees
They but other companies for the work , they don't care who is out of a job as long as corporate in Wisconsin is getting paid
spartanburg isn't under a hiring freeze. i started last year and more come every month or two including ppl from lynchburg. the place needs a lot of maintenance, but makes money. no way they're closing. the regular employeess work for breadcrumbs and quad knows that.
Quad is already some of the lsc plants and sale has not been approved.
If you have children and are laid by law they have to give you two years paid if you have been there at least 6 months and they have to paid for two years of school this is the law for every factor company
LSC Spartanburg is under a hiring freeze. The place is physically falling apart. They are trying to patch things up just to keep them running.
The end is near.
Man i hope they dont close
Every one that gets laid off will get a job helping trump finish the wall. After that wall is done you can have a break.
Are you just a p-ss-d off woman or do you have any thing to back it up... let me know
All LSC plants will close after the Quad merger. The LSC leadeership team yill get their golden parachutes and the workers will be laid off. This is exactly what Quad did when they bought WorldColor. The synergistic savings is all coming from the wages of laidoff LSC employees.
THE BOLINGBROOK ONE CLOSING
