Thread regarding Avaya layoffs

Mismanagement and Partiality Pune

The Pune Sr. Managers and Directors are very c-ap. They would occupy a cabin and rest in peace. They would also provide comfortable seating to the near and dear ones. No set criteria for allocating manager cubicle. Respect senior employees and allocate them proper seats as per designation.

-> if you are reading this please create a formal process for allocating manager cubicles and stick on the process. Check the waiting list before assigning cubicles to newer employees.

US offices are just as bad. Avaya is getting rid of the UNION little by little. Most likely no contract after September 2019

Hahaha.. how long have you been working here dude ? I am sure looking at your post..I assume above 8-10 years.... Grand old man of your team who reached here on your previous managers blessings and now perhaps crying as your manager left or removed and you aren't the blue eyed boy anymore :).... Good luck with your well quest for cabin!! Lol peoples aspirations and goals are just reflecting that of company's.. need a cabin!

The people opposing might be good example of chatus of Pune MGMT. The guy is showing how rules and process are bend by MGMT for near and dear ones.

Avaya Pune management is spineless. They don't have guys to ask 20 level managers to leave cabin and sit outside. There is a policy somewhere to decide cabin allocation.

At least you are not in the military, where being "passed over" a few times means you are out :) Try some humility and get good feedback on how to improve yourself and achieve your goals instead of complaining. This approach is not likely to help you any.
