I'm a former employee I quit back in September. Before I left anyone that quit jobs was not being filled. The Cleveland office had about 150+ employees when I first started & when I left it was around 30 employees left.

I was an employee at NYCB. I suffered a death in my immediate family. There was a vacant SVP office, of whose permission I had to use when he was on a vacation. I proceeded to use the office to communicate to the medical examiner's office, make funeral arrangements, etc. An individual named Susan Schacht barged into the office and harassed me, forcing me to leave the office while I was actively making these communications. The law enforcement officer on the the line actually heard this and said this was so egregious he could issue an arrest warrant for interfering with a coroner investigation.
This is a company with no core values who retaliates against disabled veterans and those who raise ethics concerns.
I was just silently Fired Off with about 30 people. I was in the middle of performing a Technical Migration with in IT. They came and asked me to leave after a 15 minute meeting. They are in the process of gutting their IT department. If you are an IT person, do not apply to New York Community Bank. Their IT infrastructure is very Old. Your Skills will not be enhance due to the Old server and Network Infrastructure.
