Thread regarding Aetna layoffs

Aetna’s Medicare workers might be on shaky ground

I can’t say the sale of the Medicare business came as a big surprise, as Aetna is obviously clearing the ground for CVS’s takeover. I get that both Aetna’s and CVS’s management have some sort of vision of what the company is going to look like after the merge, and they plan to get rid of every segment that doesn't fit into that vision, especially because the Medicare business was overleaping. If only we were talking about just numbers, but not actual jobs at stake. Does anyone know how many people will be impacted by this?

They are letting people with the most experience go. The company preaches morals and ethics but people are pushed to work harder with less. The CEO made out with the CVS merger! 500 million to one man. Aetna CEO could walk away with $500 million in cash and stock after CVS deal
