Thread regarding CGG Veritas layoffs

CGG Stock is Down

The current price, as I type this, is $1.69. Five days ago it was around $2.40-$2.50. Have a nice Christmas everyone.

"Market cap is now less than yearly revenue which is just not sustainable"

Market cap is now less than yearly revenue which is just not sustainable. Turning the ship is impossible with iceburgs ahead, the band plays merrily on the Titanic’s deck ...

On the final day of the stocks de-listing from NYSE which was less than a month ago each stock worth ~ $2.76 (2.46 euro) with a market cap of $2.018B (1.80B euro).

This Monday each stock worth only $1.63 (1.451 euro) and the market cap decreased to ~ $1.16B (1.03B euro).

Thus, in less than a month they lost at least $0.7B - $0.8B of their market cap.

Yep, corporate announces the dream plan (continue exactly what we did before) and present quarterly reports confirming increased debt.

Shareholders sell sell sell...

As share holders build in future expectations, what do you think they are predicting.

At least one stat went up
