As a manager at my store, I work my butt off to be able to best serve my customers. My store is growing leaps and bounds right now due to that store-customer relationship and the fact that my 2 competitors in town do not care about the customer, nor do they have an ounce of integrity in their bones. I truly feel sorry for my customers should I be edged out of my position and merged with another RTO. I also feel awful for my employees who look to me for guidance and know that I do everything in my power to maintain profit for our store while being a servant to my customers. Without them, I would not have had a job to worry about losing.
