Majority of competitors are from foreign countries. 90% of workers 4.0 GPA that work 12-14 hour shifts, 6 days a week, at half or less our pay, with a smile on face.. Nothing is beneath anyone or any position.. VP rolling up sleeves knowing how to fix machines and willing!! Ive lived and seen this many times, especially In Japan.
The boss of any team is required to know, and have worked, every position he is in charge of.. Not only is he the boss, but also a resource to team and no one can blow smoke up his arse.. He knows how long things take, whats involved, where to go next, the costs, he doesnt need another meeting to get the answers. He is part of the team and he has respect of the team.. This is HUGE!!!
Now add foreign workers make half what US workers do. Regarding management, CEO in Japan companies make 100-200X that of lowest paid worker.. In USA 2000X or more than lowest paid worker..
US companies 5x the number of managers, departments, to do same work type. Thats another chapter..
Point being Our Government has chosen free trade with these countries and without balancing the clear difference of pay, structure, etc. its impossible to compete.. This not a Xerox problem, this a US problem.. US car manufacturers know this too.. US manufacturers are forced to lower quality to keep up with costs of products made outside the country Xerox, Kodak, Baush and Lomb, GM, Ford, Chevy etc. etc. How many US TV makers left? Washers and Dryers? Appliances?
Fuji designing/manufacturing for Xerox, delivering quicker and cheaper with better quality at 25% what it costs us to do same thing..
Gqd tries to take a shot. They are a very weak person.
