So, it’s the end of year and doesn’t seem we have hit the 1400 number for employees being laid off this year? Will they actually do it right before or after Christmas ? Should we be concerned ?

It does feel like 2019 will be an "eventful" year.

Look for further outsourcing of the administration of legacy systems.
One more year to go. There have been layoffs and jobs moved to other locations during the past two years and more to come. Recall that the 1 billion dollar expense cutting initiative that was announced in 2016 was for 2017 through 2019.
