Does anyone have an idea of how many employees have left that were not cut? It seems like the parking lot in malta gets less crowded by the week.

Mr BigPivot is at it again. You should provide a disclaimer as to what level of executive or upper level management you are. I am a technologist/engineer (or in the sense of GF, was).
The attrition rate at Malta has always been extraordinarily high, even in "boom" times. Compared to San Jose or Austin, it may be just slightly above normal. However, if you look at other "captive" fab sites (places where there are not many semi jobs available besides the fab in town) such as Burlington, Boise, S. Portland (ME), Manassas, maybe even Albequerque - it is extremely high because for most people leaving these fab positions means MOVING and that is an order of magnitude higher than just taking a job down the street or across town.
Attrition normal for the holiday season? Boy, that's a laugh! People generally quit their jobs around the holidays. BigPivot, you must be management to think people will believe that load of it.
Don't believe the hype. Attrition is at normal industry levels for the holiday season.
I don't know the total numbers but I heard it was 30-40 per week, but that was a month ago when I left.
