Thread regarding McKesson Corp. layoffs

CEO

McKesson Corp. Chairman and CEO John Hammergren, who has come under fire for the company's role in the epidemic use of pr-scrip-ion opioid painkillers, will retire effective March 31.

Hammergren, whose $20.1 million total compensation last year made him the highest-paid Bay Area for-profit health care company boss, will be replaced as CEO by Brian Tyler, a 21-year veteran of the San Francisco-based health care products distributor's president and chief operating officer.

He reminds me of the Grinch. I bet he covers his green skin every morning with make up. Well he doesn’t, he has a staff of make up artist to do it. I doubt he has Norwegian blood.

The Hammer should have been canned years ago. He has blood on his hands from all the o---ids he and his company have dumped on this country. Sickening that he's made so much profit for what is effectively murder.

Good Riddance! It's a shame he will leave with a huge payout. Did the hundreds of employees get a payout when they were fired (laid off)? This is the problem with corporations. Bless the top. To hell with the low end who actually do the work.

Sad to see him go. He has been a great leader for McKesson.

Greedy and no good. I assumed that because he's Norewgian that he would be fair but apparently it's just a stereotype.
