Thread regarding GE Power layoffs

End CAS now

THE CAS and and its new sibling XLP are a marjor part of the reason why GE culture is rotten to the core. The production and promotion of leaders from these programs and their subsequent injection into the various GE businesses is akin to self injection of potent venom into your body.

End these programs now. They are waste of money, chase away good talent and are responsible for producing and pushing into our organization of terrible leaders.

CAS does no good really ..

seen many excel sheet kids pass around orders with no clue whats going on !

End CAS asap to save what is left of GE !

I believe its the CAS folks who bought GE down to its knees ..

CAS is total waste ...

Seen many such CAS folks do nothing and just pass around orders !

Excel sheet and orders and you expect people to follow them . .

Layoff the CAS and take some real experienced guys with tech experience ! Wake up GE !

This reminds me of an addiction I had a long time of groping women in crowded areas. Until Christ showed me the way. The same follows with the sycophants' "leader" structure.

Fully agree with end CAS now, they have no clue and come and tell the business people to do things what we already know. IT is waste of time and waste of money for everyone.

Another big issue with GE is all those who do the work they layoff and all those who reviews slides are hired. why do we need so many Senior Executives reporting to each other, why do we need so many officers reporting to each other. It is billions in drain. that is why GE is where it is today. In early nineties, not every one was SEB and officer and Executives. they only know how to save their seat and how to get those people around them who will help them keep their seat in place.

Layoff needs to happen from the top and not from those who run their home on working for this company.

Didn't make it through on your "pilot" assignment right?

This is so true, you can not put someone in XLP just because he is from Saudi, or Dubai and make him perform they have no clue.

Nice to see very little has changed since I was there 20 years ago. The culture of the high functioning sycophant (professional manager) is still alive and well.

Hopefully we're witnessing the death of this decrepit parasite in the markets right now, the company has been a global disease vector for the last 30 years
