They in particular discriminate against American workers. They only hire Americans if they can't find an Indian to do that particular job, and as soon as they find an Indian who has the same skill-set the American worker is out the door.

Employees do not get to decide who company hires or even if company is doing the right thing. It is the shareholders that get to decide, and shareholders are not complaining. This emotion BS is not going to fly as it is socialism. I would fight very hard if a company hires certain group of people and start giving me low returns. The wages in America are very low nowadays, and dividends and capital gains are the only saviors for many Americans.

I support Cognizant. They should do what is in the best interests of the shareholders. I own a lot of stock and I support Indians. The irony here is that the stock market has given an average of 6-7% return for the last 20 years. Seems like hiring Indians is expensive as well. Typically, S&P 500 returns used to be 11%. I think part of the problem lies in American education as well. Professors are pampering students, buying them pizzas for teaching evaluations and selling them dreams. When these students get out, they are pretty much worthless. They want a lot of money for doing simple things. People doing the hiring are no fools. In a free market, reality comes out. Anyone who complains really is a loser. As for Cognizant, it is a 100% American firm. Indians do not go out and start racially stereotyping US organizations as majority white or majority black. There are universities in the US that are majority Jewish, majority Catholic, majority Black, etc. Who cares?

People with US passport shouldnt cry. Prove yourself, invest in your own brand and keep learning. Gone are the days that one can earn a degree on government loans and expect to have job security for lifetime. And of a companybis willing to hire an alien inspite of visa headaches then you must be really bad and made up of all b---s---. Losers going to whine and cry anyways. How about go build the wall.

profits go to america, taxes are paid to america, americans and american institutions hold most of company stocks, american investor ellis pressured cognizant to layoff people.

it is running and bringing huge profits american investor because Indians work or low pay in india for this form.

If you want to, you can fire all indians take your american company operations to US, hire americans, pay american salaries and and go caput - bankrupt.

after all the huge proits from the useless soft drinks an junk food american firms sell all over the world go back to america to be enjoyed by americans......

see the qualcomm thread, they call indians curry people , but Indians are the end biggest customer pool for the smartphone that contain qualcomm chips.... abusing customers doesnt help....
