Sorry to hear your golden handcuffs are keeping you here, actually making it worth your while to endure this sh--ty employer, sh--ty treatment, and work-life imbalance. So, yeah, you can stop whining and just take it. Vesting will come sooner or later. Yay for you! Hope MDR don't go bankrupt first.
Me, no such luck. Maybe complaining here will break through and get MDR to improve, like a performance review for mngt and HR. Or maybe employees will see that MDR are f---ed up, top to bottom. Job cuts and offshoring were always part of the plan. Still are. But now MDR are in real trouble for no reason but mngt hubris, the myth of their superpowers they sold investors. Smart investors don't invest in companies, they invest in people who run them. So now smart investors are selling MDR. If these dumbshits keep running MDR, this topside we're on will be underwater.
Keep calm - hit the nail on the head - most of us ex cbi would welcome a getting our stock immediately vested by getting let go. It’s in our awards. But most of you guys just sit around and cry about dumb stuff - get over yourself and get to work.

Everyone is forgetting the most important point, which is that Double Dee, his arsekissers, and the old CBI wheres-my-bonus (while they bone us) deadwood management that McD mistakenly retained, rake in the dollars (Brit pounds, whatever).

Start with goals. Taking on too much debt? Buying projects that were underbid and can't be fixed? Thinking you can fix them anyway but you now admit is impossible because they WERE UNDERBID? Convincing the board and investors that you can do the IMPOSSIBLE by fixing projects that were UNDERBID and can't be fixed? Bringing MDR to the brink of bankruptcy? Paying billions too much for a company that only needed a lifeline? Being the private joke of exCBI mngt who you made rich and think they really took you? Making almost every MDR employee hate MDR? Giving MDR the title of worst workplace? Keeping a straight face when saying you always intended to sell pipes and tanks? Driving the tanks business into the ground while the sale is up in the air? Not paying bills? Making this board a success?
CB&I Houston cannot engineer and execute a project. Full of bad management for years now.
