They know who calls the speak up line. If you are considered a person who could potentially cause problems, you will be gone. Best advice: do not think for yourself in a corporate setting.

hitting on interns in Plano when you are buddies with HR doesn't count as a "code of conduct" violation...what a joke
The Code of Conduct is an open joke, no one takes it seriously
People should continue to speak up .
I have a question.
How do they know who called the line assuming you used a *67 before calling, or by using the anonymous website?
Please explain this.
Let me just be the first to warn you that if you have family FRITOLAY IS NO PLACE TO WORK!! I am currently employed with fritolay and my oldest daughter is 28 years old and is pregnant with identical twins and was diagnosed with twin twin transfusion syndrome where the babies share placenta with seperate umbilical cords but the same blood vessels which is serious on both babies and left untreated usually results in loss of both twins this requires surgery and that isn't done here we tried Vanderbilt in Tennessee but she was only 17 weeks along so Vanderbilt would not do the surgery so we had to go to Cincinnati Oh to Cincinnati Children's Hospital which by the way is a wonderful place but my daughter didnt have the means to make it to Cincinnati so my wife and i had to take her this was all last minute so i was told that i couldn't take emergency vacation in which i dont understand what the purpose of emergency is i went to Human Resources and was told since she is older that i would not be granted FMLA so i ask for an unpaid personal leave and i was denied and told to do what i felt i had to do to take care of my family and worry about my job when i got back because their job as Human Resource was to worry about the business and not my family that was my concern so i advise that if you are a family person this isnt the job for you the attitude of this company is they pay you well enough that they own you!!!!
Was With this company more than 10yrs in Torrance area it’s overwhelming how coc?sukers get promoted here the managers are a bunch of lazy s—ing undergraduates acting as if they were gods gift since they started as regular merchandisers it took a lot of deep throating to get that position so they abuse there authority !! I had to leave this place before I ended up choking one of these biches i was so frustrated one day I stopped my self as I was waiting for One of them to end there shift luckily i stopped my self that’s how serious it had been through a rough year with a death in family a personal injury from an accident and was getting sick from all the stress and managers thinking i was milking it or just being lazy the worse part is that I had explained my situation to them but it didn’t matter to them most of the managers are young wet behind the ears and the others are so worried about there numbers !! Heres my middle finger to you for one of the worse year of my life and for what a promotion most of them wont get smh ??? Whoa on them when karma comes knocking!!
Used the speak up line and the company used it against me even when I was rascally abused. They had it in writing but turned it on me.
Don't use the line its turns on you. How did they know I used the line.
Safety is skewered at frito lay fayetteville tn. Training and safety jobs are handed out by Brian Harwell based on popularity, not on skills anility,or experience.
Speak up is weaponized. A rival called the line, claiming assault by a colleague.
A thorough investigation revealed no assault.
Guess which associate was fired first?
Not true. I've personally reviewed SpeakUp reports and they do not disclose who calls. That's not to say that people can't pinpoint who the caller is based on context clues, but management is limited by what information is included in the report.
Speakup reports are gathered by a third-party company and forwarded to Compliance & Ethics, not HR. HR may be called upon to assist in an investigation, but it's not a direct line.
And we owe PEP nothing
As a public traded company, they owe us a lot.. Smh. Definitely don't owe us termination for speaking up about unethical practices. This isn't a private sector company..
A great method used by many corps over the years to weed out the unhappy employees even though most are fully justified. Keep your head down, drink the free coffee and do your job the best you can.....and these days keep that resume up to date. PEP owes you nothing.
Compliance has a huge influence on who gets laid off and the # of calls on you weighs heavily, right or wrong.
They claim its an outside company that has nothing to do with Pepsico. I called it, I got the lowest PDR score in my 10 year . Good thing I was interviewing at the time, got the job and left this toxic department.
I reported a direct s-xually harassing an new hire and nothing happened. It all depends on who you’re friends with.
This is 100% true. I reported an inappropriate situation, that I had no involvement with, but management in my area and everyone else was aware of. Many people were not happy about it, uncomfortable with it, but management just turned a blind eye to it and did nothing. Being a good corporate citizen and following the Code of Conduct, I reported through Speak Up. I was contacted, met with HR several times, they investigated and found out that everything I told them was true. They even praised me at the last meeting for bringing this situation, which could be damaging to the company, to their attention and told me “you did a good thing” while shaking my hand and literally 2 weeks later I was laid off ! Speak Up is a joke, it’s simply HR, that does nothing, protecting HR and saving face once they wake up and are made aware of something. This is how Speak Up works, this is how HR works.
