Microsoft certainly abuses h1b programs. The sheer number of h1bs in many buildings is amazing. Many are 90% indian, and indian dudes to be sure. Id also say there is some serious in-group preference where indian managers seem to only hire indians. The “indian mafia” everyone knows it

On the other hand, as a hiring manager, 70% of the resumes are from indians. And they are willing to relocate.

Comparisons to GM are stupid and wrong. GM has intrinsic issues. Overprices cars (due to unions) at poorer quality. GM also outsources a lot and has been bailed out by the government

I didn't listen. I am H1b and companies like infosys are exploiters. The business model is about about exploiting. They give millions of dollars to lobby firms, BTW.

I will start with campaign finance laws to fix things in US. so big money is kept out of politics and politicians work for ordinary people. This will fix probably H1B as well in the right way by chain of causation. Fixing H1b in isolation won't make a difference to this country.

If you listen carefully, the Dr is blaming the corps for abusing the H1B system like Infosys. The policy needs to be upgraded, improved, etc. No one is criticizing the H1B employee.

Stop it. Stop criminalizing H1bs, caravans etc. Blame the billionaires, private equity owners who are undermining the labor in this country. GM is laying off although there are no H1bs in GM. If you are blaming H1bs/caravans, trump will exploit you and the billionaires/private equity owners will have the last laugh. Understand how this country works.

H1bs are struggling to make a living.
