Target needs to offer a voluntary layoff program. I'm betting many with 15+ years at the company would take it...save some pension benefits for corp....

why would they offer a voluntary when they can do 20 thousand people dirty and get back most of the canada loss in a minute
If you hate it, leave. Would you really stay there for a 6 month severance payout? Make yourself happy in life and leave on your own. Live life.......it is short.
Everyone in payroll would take that offer instead of being forced to do a job you did NOT apply for under the guise of cross training. They will cheat us out of a package by making us do jobs we hate.
